Payment should be made in advance of the Congress by one of the following methods:
Notification of cancellations must be sent, in writing, to Congrex UK Ltd at reg@6thwfc2012.com. Cancellations will be accepted until 27th January 2012 with a refund of all fees except for an administration fee of 25%. No refunds can be made for cancellations received on or after 27th January 2012. Substitutions of attendees can be made at any time.
Delegates and accompanying persons may purchase tickets for the Gala Dinner and Tours at the time of registration. Click here for more information on the Social Programme and Tour Programme.
Please note that registration for optional tours and events will be confirmed upon payment on a first come-first served basis. A minimum and maximum number of delegates booked onto tours may be necessary.
Participation in events included in the registration fee, for example the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception must also be marked on the form.
Students and early career scientists may register for the satellite programmes through the on-line registration system. Any accommodation related to satellite programmes will be arranged separately from the Congress by the workshop organiser for which additional costs will apply.
Confirmation of registration will be sent to delegates whose payment has been received. If you have not received a confirmation letter after having made payment, please contact Congrex UK Ltd at reg@6thwfc2012.com. In addition Joining Instructions to assist with your visit to Edinburgh will be sent out by email approximately 6 weeks prior to the Congress. Please ensure that you submit your email address when registering.
Your name and address will be contained in the full list of participants, available to all delegates, sponsors and exhibitors. We may be supplying names and addresses of participants to sponsors/exhibitors of the event to enable them to contact you with regard to their marketing objectives and/or satellite programme. If you do not wish to have your name included, please indicate on the registration form.
A letter of invitation along with any other necessary documentation must be submitted by the delegate to the relevant Embassy or Consulate together with a copy of your registration confirmation. Please note that this procedure aims to assist participants who need to obtain a visa or permission to attend the Congress. It is not an official invitation covering fees and other expenses, nor does it imply any financial support from the Congress.
